Body and Soul was everything I wanted it to be. Last night a DJ saved my life. Well, three DJs. Hard to describe the feeling of being ensconced in so much happiness and love, and dancing my fool ass of for 4 hours solid. It was heavenly. I only wish I could have stayed longer. And I was waiting in the coat check line when "Equatorial" came on, but whatever.

Went out for breakfast at 6 p.m. today, and had a huge steak, which is yet another thing I've ostensibly sworn off, but, hey, I said do it like you mean it, motherfucker. And that cow was stone cold awesome. I tip my cap to your flank, Bossie. Or whatever part of you sirloin comes from.

Now, of course, I can't sleep, and the stupid early news is driving me nuts. Somebody send me pills.
