Cuz I have been neglecting to write one of these in some time, heres an update for you.
First off we'll start with my birthday this year... it was crap, utter crap. My girlfriend didn't even do anything for it, not special sex, no gift, no offering to pay for anything NOTHING. So needless to say I was not impressed :/ I talked to her about it when she went to bed at 9 that day and how it was a shitty day and she promised to make it up to me. Which happened last weekend, and she really redeemed herself. She took me out for the day, wearing a cute dress and awesome heels. she paid for it all and got me the Batman: Arkham Asylum Collectors Edition (something I've been looking for). So again she did good. But my family shafted me again and everything I though would happen did so there's that. And just when I was like "good, I don't have to worry about this till next year" I get a call from my bitchy sister at 7am, that she's booked her wedding on my 25th birthday (next year) and wanted to know if that would bother me, when I answered yes she asked why?... Why? Seriously? So now my parent's are trying to "Buy" my acceptance of this, and I use the word buy very loosely, it not like they're paying for anything, just making empty promises that I know won't happen.
So besides that bull shit there's school, We are now in our last month and HOLY CRAP I'M BUSY!~ Being a sound guy we get shafted. We get the film's late and have next to no time to work on them. I'm sound designing and mixing two of the films. One we got on time and it was great, sounds great. The other we got two weeks ago... Two weeks! Luckily we had a great sound team to tank that one together., but still. Other than my sound work school has been kinda crappy. Our teacher don't get the concept of Post 95% of the time and don't give two shits about the sound departments. We got this assignment that my teacher "forgot" about that is a good 4 weeks of work, due in 2, and that was 2 weeks ago. I don't have time for this crap. But working on my end of the films is no excuse apparently, so I want to punch her in the face. So I'm dealing with that as well.
On the bright side of all this, I bought myself a birthday present back when tickets went on sale, so a buddy of mine are going to the Blackheart Burlesque next week. Not only that, but I got VIP tickets to meet the girls, I'm very excited about meeting them, especially Katherine Suicide <3 So I get to look forward to that.
Thats pretty much it, or all I can think of. I should get back to work anyway, these film's won't mix themselves.
