I love snow, however I knew it was going to be a difficult trip home when I struggled to get the car up the slope and out of the office car park. None of the main roads or any roads had been gritted and as it fell it lay, leaving many inexperienced drivers a good chance to panic.
My 4 mile trip took 1 1/2 hours and that was using some back roads when I could access them. My elderly neighbour wanted to get her wheelie bin out even though I said they wouldn't be coming to empty it tomorrow, so in my effort to assist I slid down the slope into her garden on my arse with my leg and foot twisted behind me.
She then asked if I was ok ??? Whilst I lay completely flat out on the ground below her wondering where I could put weight to get up!!
