Following yesterday's blog which got no comments or views as far as I know, today I am absolutely shattered.
Most of you know I am a Housing Manager responsible for a varied portfolio of properties that includes two Foyers for 16-25 year olds. I arranged for a pc suite to be upgraded as the equipment they had was there since the arc. The PCs were duly delivered and our in house IT team refused to come out to install them. After a few days of back & forth deliberations I was on site myself today and unpacked the 9 PCs, dismantled the old ones, got rid of the rubbish, set the new ones up, networked them and made sure all of them had the appropriate software on them for our residents to make best use of.
So whilst I am shattered I have a sense of achievement as whilst others were happy just to leave the new PCs gathering dust as someone else would need to install them I just did what I always do and lead by example. I guess thats why my staff actually want to work for me?

don't be sad! Crazy! I don't normally respond to blogs anymore... not really sure why but , yea.
Don't worry about your age either. Like you said, it is merely a number and should not be counted against who you interact with. I have more older friends than younger. I really just like the maturity level that older people have and when I say older I mean older than me ^_^
