If on Christmas Day every present you open is some variant of personal hygiene product should you be concerned? I manage on average two showers a day so unless I've got the whole cleaning process wrong I'm reasonably sure I don't stink. Its also very rare I'll wear the same item of clothing on more than once before consigning it to the washer. All this leads me to believe my level of cleanliness is far from tramp like.

Yet still I'm confronted by cleaning products recently freed from wrapping paper. Perhaps they just think I like washing a lot. I shouldn't be to critical one of them came in the shape of a Dalek. Sadly though that was also bubble bath, and we don't have a bath in the house. Something my mother who bought me the gift probably knows.

My Granny brought me a cold, which was nice cos theres nothing better than spending a long time away from work trying to figure how one nose can produce so much goo. Several nights of terrible sleep compounded my attitude of "Fuck the lot of you I'm gonna stay in my room ignoring your existance". This had a happy end though as my Granddads trick of spouting racist/homophobic shit regurgitated from the Daily Mail has climbed to epic proportions. For some reason hearing how we should send all the blacks home and that homo's are evil has lost its charm. I've half a mind to get me a boyfriend just to piss him off, or at least stop him talking to me.

(However this would validate his claim that sending me to private school would turn me into a homosexual. WTF)

So anyway my illness/anti-socialness meant I sat alone watching lots of films. Heres some reviews -

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button

I'm a bit of a David Fincher fanatic so the opportunity to watch this before it hit our cinemas was to much a temptation to pass up. Part of me regrets to waiting to see it under the Magic Lantern because it will be far more beautiful under that light. However the film shone through its pirated origins, it is a bit magic. Can't wait to see it again, and this time I'll be able to steal myself before the weepy bits.

Let the Right One In

Currently "Let the Right One In" is getting the best reviews of any film released this year (well last year). Christ knows why. Basically its cut down reversed version of that "Twilight" movie, but instead of being the fantasies of a fat teenage girl its the fantasies of some dude that got bullied as a kid. The rest of critisism is spoiled in case you still want to watch it.

Before there was Jack Bauer killing terrorists there was Chick Norris killing terrorists. Due to illness I feel asleep during the first hour so have no idea what it's about. The second half was fantastic though. Chuck and his twin Uzis of death killed loads of people for reasons set out in the bit I missed. Fantastic.
