Been a few days since I wrote anything here. Thats mainly cos I haven't been hammered and bored for a couple of days. Instead I've been sober and bored, which means I do the sensible thing and go to sleep. My brief holiday from booze has come to end (hopefully for one night only though) and here I am with a head full of nonsense to splurge upon you.
- Drinking beer all the time makes you forget just how good beer tastes. I'd compare it to getting laid after a dry spell, except my dry spell has been about 29 years now so I have no idea if the comparison is realistic. That first beer did taste good though, as did the second. The other four will probably be just as good.
- Torchwood. I was I little worried the producers might ditch the last seasons formula of utter nonsense + supposed adult stuff in favour of mature science fiction. Thankfully they haven't and its still fifty minutes of "what the hell!". Its the only show on TV that I can't second guess
- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I was skeptical about this show. Figured it would be terminator appears, characters run away, terminator defeated, repeat. However this is not the case. The actual focus of the show is something completely unexpected. I'm not going to go into detail, but my feeling is that this show will go onto great things. It doesn't shy away from the action you're used to from a Terminator movie either. And Summer Glau as John Connors new protector is more then enough for me to tune in. Something damn sexy about a hot chick that that can kick ass.
Trust me, its ace.
Thats about it.
