Still no car. Car is good. Need car. Walking bad.
Having a car means I can leave home at the same time I have to clock in at work. Not having a car means I have to leave for work several hours before I'm due to start my shift. It also means I waste time considering contenders for good walking music. Punk rock is right out cos it fools my body into thinking it can move quickly (something I learnt today. Walking up a hill to the beat of A Wilhelm Scream nearly killed me. Thankfully I also had The Raveonettes on my MP3 player, otherwise I'd be posting this with the aid of a ouiji board). At the other end of the scale a bit of Sigor Ros is inappropriate because I'd probably just find somewhere pleasant to sit and admire their lovely tunes.
I will need something upbeat though. When start my journey I will have only been conscious for about ten minutes.Through years of training I have managed to fit having a shower, getting dressed and necking a pint of orange juice into ten minutes. This allows me to get out of bed around fiftteen minutes before I'm due to start work. And then swipe in about five minutes late. Oddly I am never tardy when it comes to swiping out
This was gonna have a point but I've forgotten what it was. I blame Seinfeld. The show about nothing has lead to me posting journals about nothing I've just finished watching the set I got for Christmas, need more. I fear that the same thing that happened to me with The West Wing will happen with Seinfeld. See I've had the last series of The West Wing sat on my shelf for about a year. At the moment I still have unseen West Wing episodes to watch, but if I watch them I won't. And then there's no more. Ever,
Its like Schrdinger's cat, at the moment there is the possibility of more West Wing. If I open that box set the cat is dead. Or something.
Anyway. I bought a guitar strap today. Now I can jump around my room pretending to be Joe Strummer. My attempts so far have been hampered by my room being full of stuff i'd rather not break by impersonating one of my idols. I'd like to keep my guitar in one piece too. Even if I never manage to play the thing it looks damn cool. However to not play it properly should be a crime, so I will do my best to rectify that.
Well thats enough meandering drivel for now. Stay classy,
