Anyway.
Week or so ago I came across an IT training scheme. I passed the online test and was invited to meet them. "Wahey", thinks I "a way out of supermarket rubbishness". However its cost four thousand pounds. I dont have four thousand.
Skip forward a few days a letter arrives confirming the details of this meeting. My Dad asks what its all about and I explain. I tell him that being paid to tinker with computers would be ace but I cant afford it.
Then my mum finds out. "You're going" she says "find out if this is something you want to do. We'll figure out how to pay for it later".
Thats me told then. Just when I thought I couldn't be more of a nerd I find myself applying to go learn how to fix computers. I can hear Little Geoff screaming "But now we'll never any action goddammit!".
I've been learning to play "The Modern Age" by the Strokes for a few days now. So far I've managed to play something, unfortunately it sounds nothing like New Yorks finest. I reckon its the guitar.
