A quick thank you to Microsoft first. The latest Xbox 360 update means it will play video files I download of the internet (and by that I mean the legal type, honest). No more waiting for my computer to burn them to a DVD. Brillantly this has coincided with every show I download from America coming to an end due to the writers strike. I'm all for the writers getting what they are due (power to the people and all that) but the rest of my brain wants more Heroes, and for 24 not to of been indefinitely postponed. It is a damn handy feature though so cheers.

= The world has so far done nothing to piss me off today. Work went smoothly, I spent the evening with "The Bourne Ultimatum", " The Simpson's Movie" and a shit load of beer that was obscenely cheap.
- Plans are in motion to get this girl I like and me to interact. That sounds fucking stupid so I'll explain. We both work in the same place, but she is confined to a supermarket checkout for her shift. Kinda hard to flirt with someone thats trying to operate a till. Apart from "coincidental" meetings theres been very little chance for me to work my magic. However Christmas Eve is fast approaching. Everyone goes out on Christmas Eve. I see an opportunity.
Or does that sound like I'm about to start stalking her?
Either way I saw something similar work out pretty well in the film "Back to the Future", Everyone knows that fantastical movies are just like real life so I figure I'm all set.
- My Nana gave me a check for 100 today as its my birthday on Wednesday. Which is pretty fucking ace. Plus my Aunty Brenda gave us a damn funny card. So cheers for that.
- Unfortunately one of my relations suffered a heart attack today. It wasn't fatal (thank Holy Jebus) but it gave everyone a hell of a scare. You probably wont see this Alan but I hope you feel better soon.
- Beowulf. In 3D. Freakin' ace. I'm positive the WOW! factor will be severely diminished if you watch it on DVD though. However the bit were my friend Martin nearly nearly fell down the stairs in the auditorium was more entertaining than the actual movie.
And thats the past few days.
