I just got done re - watching "High Fidelity". It was a completely random choice from my excessive DVD collection. My brain thought "Cusack, Black, jokes. That'll tide you over until you decide to got to sleep". Instead I watched the whole damn thing (nevermind I've been up since 0630, and its currently 0230 the next day). What a great movie! Obviously I know its ace but somehow I've forgotten that. It was a very welcome rediscovery.
Tomorrow I really need to crack on with a story idea. Its been gestating for too long. The basic idea is this:
- Theres a boy and girl. they meet and instantly fall in love.
- The boy dies in a tragic accident.
- A mysterious stranger appears and tells the girl he can bring her dead lover back.
- The catch is they can never see each other again. If they do the boy will die again.
- The boy comes back to life, the only thing he remembers is the girl. He starts a quest to find her.
Will love triumph? Or will bad things happen?
