Its 2am, I've just got back from a gig in Manchester. I have to be in work at 7am. its not entirely unlikely I wont be there. Unsurprisingly I'm not that bothered.

Disappointingly I did go to work, all cos I would of felt like a cock for making other people do my job. I was tricked into it though. When my alarm clock rudely kicked me into consciousness at half six my brain came to the erroneous conclusion that getting out of bed would be a good move. Five minutes later its back pedaling like a lying politician (oh satire, clam down Geoff your not on the Friday Night Armistice now). and for the rest of the day my mind has swam around in a knackered funk.
It was totally worth it though, Fingathing were a long list of superlatives. Id descibe it better but there's no word for that feeling you get at a gig when you're dumbstruck by the performers on stage, when nothing else matters but the music and for one brief moment you actually feel happy. It was an ace night.
Got Alexisonfire, The Raveonetes and We are Scientists lined up next. If they are half sa good as last night I'll be very happy.
