The Rock Of Cathcart Zen

"Get this gutless shit out of my ears," Cathcart Zen growled, smashing the radio with a roasted horse leg.

"But it's popular," whined Metz, the chef.

"So's anal sex with schoolgirls. Doesn't mean I have to listen to it while I eat. Fucking hippies and Seventies queens everywhere. In 1967 John Cale and I would...

I ever own a rifle with telescopic sights... McFly won't be making any more singles. [Busted got off by disbanding nice and quickly]

I'm thinking about podcasting again.

Anyone here in a band?

Not yet, but my friend brandviolet is (check out their site. They're very good. I have no idea what podcasting is. blush

oh, I picked up the first two issues of Fell, due to your plugging. They're very good, and nice idea to put out a cheap comic that feels as dense as a regular-priced comic.
bairdduvessa:
hey man you probably won't care but I was on IMdb and they had link to an article about that smurfs video

and I guess it's been on the boston news stations as well

Horribly busy, fucked up by an allergy attack, so have some music: Alan Moore's finest moment of the 80s.

I've got that on flexi-vinyl. Thanks to you though, I can hear it. I haven't had a functional record player since I got the disc.
ericstephenson:
That was completely unnecessary. I'm going to have that in my brain all the way to work now.

Click this.

Click on "campagne voor oorlogskinderen" under "video".

Just keep watching. It'll happen about halfway through this 1 minute 30 second clip.

You'll know it when you see it.

Eh. I don't avoid the "click this" links. I avoid the "DEAR GOD NO" links.
ziricote:
hmm, didn't understand a single word throughout that, it was worth watching for the smurfs getting bombed though.

Sweet jesus, can you imagine how interesting SNL would be with Warren as a writer? It would be watchable again! (as long as Horation Sanz got killed off in the first episode)
autodidactic:
Writing for television would be cake for him, wouldn't it? It'd have to be Channel 5, though, or HBO. blush

Fell #2 was terrific! I don't know where you get your ideas, but DAMN,,,, With all the books you've got in publication right now, It's just a terrific time to be a comic fan. Your books are helping me get the word out to friends that 'comic' doesn't have to mean 'funny' or 'super hero'.

However, there's a rumor around the local comic shop that part 6 of your JLA run still isn't finished. True? False? Total bullshit?
malkav11:
Well, between the specter of there not being a TPB, and the content that wouldn't be in it if it were, and the hopefully standalone nature of the stories...oh, and the miniscule price, I broke down and bought #1.

I'd have bought #2 also, but they were out. I shall probably have it in the next week or so as I was in love by page 2. Actually, scratch that. I was in love by panel 1.

I laugh at least once per page and generally more. And I love Templesmith's art. It's one of the main reasons I read the 30 Days of Night books. (The story was all right, but nothing special. The art, I loved.)

The one on the blog itself: I hear Liverpudlian or Glaswegian when reading that. Don't know why, but I do.

As if it wasn't out in the wild enough already.

Now, it's just out in the wild and among the naked.
