Fell #2 was terrific! I don't know where you get your ideas, but DAMN,,,, With all the books you've got in publication right now, It's just a terrific time to be a comic fan. Your books are helping me get the word out to friends that 'comic' doesn't have to mean 'funny' or 'super hero'.
However, there's a rumor around the local comic shop that part 6 of your JLA run still isn't finished. True? False? Total bullshit?
Well, between the specter of there not being a TPB, and the content that wouldn't be in it if it were, and the hopefully standalone nature of the stories...oh, and the miniscule price, I broke down and bought #1.
I'd have bought #2 also, but they were out. I shall probably have it in the next week or so as I was in love by page 2. Actually, scratch that. I was in love by panel 1.
I laugh at least once per page and generally more. And I love Templesmith's art. It's one of the main reasons I read the 30 Days of Night books. (The story was all right, but nothing special. The art, I loved.)
Yeah..I dunno. Personally I'm a bit more tired than usual from having to get up relatively early for work, but Sunday evenings are one of my biggest blocks of free time all week. Jesus, I ache. Two TV-related phone conferences, a ton of email exchanged between agents and producers, notes taken by the stack -- and you know that nothing's going to come of any of it, because Hollywood is bullshit.
I'm going to be up all goddamn night, and my neck is killing me.
This is the closest thing to an update I'm managing this side of... Read More
Someone told me the wheels of Hollywood turn slower than the wheels of Law.
Which surpised me to hear, becuase I'm still being sued for 3 mil by a bunch of ambulance chasing nephew-fuckers for something that happend (and was originally resolved) FIVE YEARS AGO.
Well, best of luck w/ your hollywood dealings anyway, wether it be bullshit or not.
Hmm, too bad about the Hollywood dealings. In a way, it makes me glad I'm just a little peopn who can't even crap out a simple webcomic. Those Hollywood types aren't my kind of folks.
This is an old short story of mine: hope you haven't all seen it before...
Love Will Kill Us All
I remember you all.
Nicola Jane in Hyde Park summer, all in white, long blonde mane and pale blue eyes, every inch reflecting light, laughing at me dressed all in black. We didn't look right together, but we were. Waiting for you at night outside... Read More
