That's kind of a self-reinforcing thing, though. The quieter you are here, the less often people will bother to check, respond, etc.

That said, those other spots are either less exclusionary (to forestall angry commentary from other site members: SG costs, at least to post, the other spots are, to my understanding, free.) or already have large built-in audiences, so I can understand sticking with what works. I mostly welcomed your entrance into SGland because it meant I could finally comment when you wrote something cool.
