been bummed out all day - found out that my favorite drummer of all time and someone who i really emulated as a percussionist killed himself a couple of days ago. if anyone reads this, go check out lagwagon "hoss" (probably my fav punk album) and bad astronaut "acrophobe" and "houston we have a drinking problem". the drummer, derrick plourde, is absolutely amazing - he will be missed. RIP

Do you listen to the Beta Band? I found one of their discs, 'the three e.p.'s', in my closet yesterday...I hadn't listened to that disc in years...oh my god, it was so good...I had completely forgot how much I love that one...so the moral of this story is you should really pick up that disc...
