whew! it's been a while since i've been on SG. the home puter's monitor is on the fritz. and they would frown on me being on this site at work, so....
cakes is back from michigan.
thing's have been pretty swell here. last weekend i went up to Brainerd Lake. it was cold and wet and there were no fishies for me to hook. there was some SOCO to keep us warm though. and a couple PBRs from some friendly campers.
this weekend my parents are coming to visit. i'm half excited and half annoyed (b/c they're staying at my apartment). we're going up to the mountains and out drinking and prolly out to the Taste of Colorado thingy.
September is going to be a big month here in Sneekerland. i've already volunteered for three things. of the three, i'm most stoked about swinging a hammer for Habitat for Humanity. Even if they are a christian-based organization. it'll give me a chance to test out my new God jokes.
