you shouldn't have trouble finding a place for that much. i have a 1.5 bedroom apartment with garage parking for 720 a month in chicago, but it seems that milwukee is becoming more and more yuppified. which sucks! i still think you will be able find a place for that much in the prospect/farwell area though

the constantines were fucking awesome, i enjoyed them a bunch. i doubt the weakerthans will be going to wisconsin anytime soon... but you never know. they put on a really great show
