I would of posted this sooner but Comcast was being a prissy little bitch.
After the short 2 hr jaunt over to the Grand Rapids area, I checked into my hotel, changed into my ever dapper black suit, black shirt, red tie, start to leave and then I randomly run into missbernie , followed by Oninotaki and the infamous doctashock!!! Great to see them again, since I hardly get to see anyone these days. This foretells of a wonderful night to come.
Get lost for a brief 8 minutes due to mapquest directions being a crock of shit, park at the meter, throw in some coins to feed its voracious appetite, run in to the rather nice building where the wedding is being held and follow all the ample signage to find the room where the wedding will be.
After having arrived "just" in the nick of time, I enjoy the wonderful wedding ceremony of EvanX and Mistress Missy. The ceremony was proceeded over by Speedphreak in a kilt. It was short and sweet and had some pagan overtones. I liked it alot.
Then while waiting for people to leave I got to chit chat and catch up with a slew of people, LittleGirlGod, Meow, Vectrexxx, Msterbeau, Nalar, Micah, SYH, Bathory and I am sure I am forgetting several others.
Feasting began. Very nice catering, with nicely arranged meal. SinJun finally showed up. Had a great time hobnobbing, catching up with Bathory and chatting about martial arts and ink with her date Miguel. He is a cool motherfucker lemme tell ya. I am so gonna have to go out to Kalamazoo one of these days so we can throw on some gloves and he can proceed to beat the living crap out of me. Just gimme a few weeks to get back to at least a passable fighting fit
Of course we all started getting a bit snookered due to free wine and beer and 4.00 mixed drinks. MMMMM vodka, oh how I love you so.
Missy was a very smart cookie and put all of her relatives on the first floor and put all the SG members on the third floor of the hotel where she got a block of rooms at a discount rate for us.
I say she was smart because the ever debonair Micah brought a box of liquor with him. So I made a foray to the nearest Meijers to procure mixers and snack chips (sour cream and onion potato chips ftw!!). Then we all piled into one room, and got even more drunk. After mocking two really bad late 80's early 90's films (STRIKING DISTANCE!!!!!) Micah fired up his laptop of doom and subjected us to the delightful lsd trippy film Zardoz!! Nothing is better then Sean Connery with a handlebar mustach a pony tail and an orange diaper. No, nothing.
The next morning the majority of us showed up at Missy and Evans house for breakfast. They have a very nice house btw in case you were wondering. I am soooo going to go back and break in and steal Evans movie poster from the film "Brother"!!! So kickass!!
Drove home. Went to work. And now life goes on. At least till Thursday where it will go on but will also include going to see She Wants Revenge!!!!!!!
