It has almost been a year since I last had physical contact with another person, be it a hug, pat on the back or handshake.

No worries, man - 'tis the nature of the internet...

I had a nightmare when I was little that my Dad had die - the suddenness of it was quite awful. It's been easier dealing with my Mom's passing since she'd been on a decline (and I know she's not suffering any more).
