School is over! I finished my undergraduate degree about a week ago and it feels quite surreal to be leaving a place that has been the foundation of so many memories, friendships, and experiences.

That being said, I am more than happy to go. I find that people are either ready to go by the time they reach their final year, or they aren't ready to go at all by the time they graduate and I am happy that I am in the former group.

I'm ready to move on and explore, and I am glad that I have plans to do that.

I leave for Mexico on Monday for a graduation trip! It should be a blast, and I'm pretty excited for the warm weather. I want to do some exploring and hopefully see some temples! I won't be drinking as much as my friends as I have a half-marathon on the 23rd of May, and I need to do some training runs while I'm down there... that should be fun haha.

I am getting more and more excited to head to Australia.I leave in 74 days and I've got a ton of support and friendship already from the amazing SGAU members, which is making me feel more confident in my choice to head to the other side of the planet for more schooling. Thank you everyone, I'm incredibly excited to meet all of you

For now, I am just at home with my family. I don't have much time before I pack up my life and leave them for 2-5 years, and it is good to have some time to be around them. I'm not someone that gets homesick easily (Thankfully!) but I know that I definitely will during this adventure. Hopefully Skype will help ease the transition, but the 13 hour time difference will make it a bit of a challenge!
