I figured that it was time to redecorate the house so I made a start by re-painting the dining room.

Unfortunately it turned out to be rather time consuming because I had to move my bookcases first.

Check out this article. It's about someone who digs up old rubbish heaps in order to unearth things that people threw away long ago (such as Victorian medicine bottles). How cool is that?

Around here they were called Bottle Collectors. Most of the old cellar holes & rubbish heaps have been picked clean back in the '60's. My Grade School friends mother had thousands of bottles she dug up; most where for sale for the right price.

It looks like I could renting one of my spare rooms to a lodger in a few months. A former work acquaintance messaged me the other day to ask if she could rent a room for a few months.

Recently, I had a nice chat with an orc. I stopped by a Live Action Role Play (LARP) fair to say hello to a friend from years back who was running a stall. He wasn't the orc, I should add. I just happened to meet the orc while I was there. I met a dwarf, too! .
