Ok folks, here's true story which made me laugh a great deal.
When my Mum was a little girl, her parents had a tenant in the house. The tenant was a deeply religious lady. One day my Mum was very late coming home from school and when questioned by her parents as to why she was so late my Mum explained that every few steps she had stopped to pray! Needless to say this had greatly slowed her progress on the way home. Now why on earth would a child stop and pray every few steps on the way home? Well, as I mentioned earlier, my Mum's parents had a tenant in the house who was deeply religious. It seems that the tenant had told my Mum that we are all children of Sin and as we walk through life we must pray every step of the way lest we should go to Hell!! Being young and naive my Mum had taken this to heart and fearful of posthumous fire and torment, she had attempted to follow the pious busybody's advice literally.

At the moment I hate all religon...but that might change again in time.
