It's a Bank Holiday today so I have the day off work and I've only just got up. It's raining outside and although I do think the rain us beautiful and I love walking in the rain, I've done bugger all this weekend and the house is a mess. I really need to get it together to do some housework and try to sort out the various items that are beginning to pile up. I don't want to find myself sitting at my desk at work tomorrow morning feeling that I habe frittered away yet another weekend. While still waking up I have been listening to some truly beautiful music so I am going to share it with you. This piece is by a composer called Karl Jenkins. It is the "Benedictus" from his "The Armed Man: a mass for peace". It was composed in 1999 and first publicly performed in 2000.
