Woke up relatively early!
I've been wandering around in shorts, dancing to Satin Rouge, with the lovely middle aged bellydancer that stars. Had to walk to the local grocery store - and it was HOT. The checkout boy let me pick my own price for my rice cakes. Hehe. High school boys are funny. Some asshole shouted at me on the way home, and I... Read More
I can't sleep.
Made banana pancakes for dinner, and wiggled my way into my comfy couch to daze out while eating them.
Music videos were the treat tonight, and I lounged in their plastic glory for many hours. Had a fight with my mother, in which she told me I would never 'get better', and screamed "GOOD" while I pulled at my hair.

Stayin' up laaate tonight. Had a generally tense day with the family, before making spaghetti carbonara for us all, while we watched 48 hours. James came down (I say down, because I live 30 minutes south of his apartment) afterwards, and we watched an utterly confusing Korean film called Musa:The Warrior, which was obviously meant to be an epic - but to us? Just baffling.... Read More

"Ignorance is the night of the mind, but a night without moon and star."

Living history. It's a passion of mine, since the time when I was 7 years old, and first visited the Jamestown historical reenactment township. Amazing. To step out of 21st century shoes, and into those of the very people that you learn about in history, from first grade past college, baffles me. Watching PBS right now arosues some passion in me. A passion that's drove... Read More
I got nothin' to do!!
I woke up at 3 today, after waking up at 6, 9:30, and 10:30 once falling asleep at 4. I stayed up with James for his all-nighter, before he had to go to work at 7:30. Buuut.. now I'm awake. No more sepia-coloured dreams for me.
Going to go out to dinner tonight - and I'm going to -make- him... Read More

To answer your question: I think bananas are pretty damn silly, now that I think about it. even the name is. i mean, why didn't we call em Banans? Or Bananananas? who said where the na's had to stop?
Listening to James' (who is my lover and best friend) beautiful music. Chatting over Yahoo voice and giggling back and forth.
Had a meal of fruit salad and pasta for dinner! It made me smile and snuggle into my cushions as I watched "Colonial House" on PBS. I've dreamed of homesteading, and possibly living on the barest of means. A fantasy of mine, to connect... Read More
Grocery shopping! Wooohooo!
I'm going to buy strawberries, and apples, and carrots, and lovely heads of lettuce! Soymilk and a vegan pizza!
Y'gotta love food. Y'gotta love eating it, buying it, cooking it.
A wonderful discussion with my love. He understands me, and while human, with human fears - can talk to me with an open heart, and an open mind. Pondering my plans, at the moment.
To bed? A little catnap?
Cleaning (bleh.)?
Bellydance with the FC vid?
