Yay! I just made myself feel better, after gettin' all depressed (before the ACTION even started) over the lovey dovey stuff in Apocalypto.
Inspired by the scenery and facial tattoos, I did a few pictures.
I love that there's a prayer to Ixchel in part.
I was conceived on the island sacred to Ixchel, where there was a temple built for fertility rites. My parents prayed to her (sure, yeah, you're Christian.. uh huh), and boom, here I am.
Oh, gooey Pagan goodness.
Too bad I'm still athiest (humanist non-thiest, thank ya very much)
