Hello SG land.
Been a bit since I've wrote, Been having this bad habit of doing that but at least I'm doing something about once a month instead of every 2 months or 3. A lot has been happening
So I've officially been accepted to Xavier. I received my acceptance letter and have acquired my student ID. I'm honestly very nervous about it. I'm going to put everything I have into the classes but I hope that the 2 years of studying will bring forth an actual teaching job.
I start in July, with Special Education as the first class I'll ever take. A summer school class, 4 weeks for a 15 week class. Gotta get studying done and really buckle down.
So I also recently took a trip to Annapolis, MD. It was absolutely stunning the scenery on the way there. I went to the Naval Academy and the Museum there also went to an Amish store. I was just blown away with how beautiful the east coast is.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to the SG party this weekend in Columbus. My uncle last week had a heart attack and open heart surgery. He is doing fine and recovering, but his recovery is taking place at my house and since I don't have a job, I've been put to work helping him with all his needs until he can do things on his own.
I have gotten to see my nephew some while being off. A lot more than before. Unfortunately it's been a couple weeks due to the crazyness of everything. But I say that because my sister has a cat that doesn't like anyone, but I was babysitting once and it came up and sat up on my lap. It was a proud moment
The weather has been crazy around here and I've developed sort of a summer cold. But it makes for great pictures. This one looks like an alien mothership coming down to earth
I'm not sure what the future holds, I'm nervous about school and getting a job. I'll be 30 when I graduate. I'm going to try to collect my money up and take a trip sometime, when I"m done with school or for a break. I wanna get out of the US, not sure where honestly, but just out of here. I know I won't have much money, and will probably be relying on the kindness of others to make it work, but I just wanna go. So, if you wanna volunteer to house me up or whatever, please don't hesitate.
