Just please keep in mind, I havent entirely sold myself on the idea of going shorter, but I would definitely love some input from someone that knows what they're doing. 
And you know, for your time, I could probably take a look at your computer. A reload of the OS will always do the trick, but if you've got a lot of stuff that makes that a hassle, I'm usually very good at salvaging installs.

This weekend I learned that the sister of a very close friend of mine died during childbirth. The doctors aren't sure what happened, something about her body going septic (spelling?). Her heart just stopped and they couldn't revive her. The baby lived. I hope he never carries any guilt about it.
