This weekend I learned that the sister of a very close friend of mine died during childbirth. The doctors aren't sure what happened, something about her body going septic (spelling?). Her heart just stopped and they couldn't revive her. The baby lived. I hope he never carries any guilt about it.

Chin up, man. This bad adrenaline you're being subjected to won't last forever. In the long run, this is a good thing for you. Remember, never be someone's emotional yo-yo. Whenever you find yourself in the middle of a guilt jag or a "what if" trip, just remind yourself of the facts - you know what they are.

You're one of the good guys, trust me.
