So... I finally feel as though things are getting back to normal. You never know how much family really means to you until you almost lose someone. My dad had a bout a 10% chance of living through his ordeal. If it wasn't for the balls of one surgeon he would be gone. This lady was amazing, she worked under conditions that few other would have. I owe this woman so much.
The emotional toll that this has taken on me is extreme. I have cried more in that one week period than I had in years.
For the couple of people that read my blog about this happening and sent their thoughts and prayers, thank you very much.
As far as everythig else goes... LIfe is okay. My job kind of sucks, but who's doesn't. My marriage is amazing. My wife is hands down the best and most beautiful woman in the entire world.
My roommate will be gone in about two weeks, which is good (he is a good kid, but being married and have a roommate sucks).
