First day back to work sucked! I get back to find out that i know have a TON more responsibility. I have 4 new major things I am in charge of at work. It wouldn't be a big deal had my boss told me about this, rather than me finding out from others and then having him confirm it. That pretty well pissed me off. I was hoping this vacation would have given me a better attitude about my job. Instead it has exemplified everything that I hate about my job. After 5 1/2 years with this company I am ready to be done. But, in this town in order to move up you have to kiss ass, which I am not willing to do. So, I am stuck in corporate hell like the vast majority of America.
Personally, life is great. My wife and still continue to be in love. My cousin is getting married, my brother, my parents...all happy. So for that I am glad. I that makes me happy.
So for 9 hours, 5 days a week, I am miserable. When I am outside of work I am a pretty happy guy. Take that however you want. All that matters to me is that when I am home or out with my friends I am happy. I know a lot of people that can not even say that. So, I guess I am doing pretty well.

It'd be much nicer though, if you liked your job since it does take up a considerable amount of your time.
