I moved out of my place in DC on Wednesday, drove to the airport and flew to Florida to visit my mom. She moved out the next day. On Friday we signed papers selling her house. Then drove Fri - Sun from Florida to Wisconsin to my brother's house. Mom is buying a house near him and her grandchildren.
This morning I flew back to DC then drove my car to Boston. I will move into my new place on Wednesday.
So in the past 6 days, both me and my mom have moved, I've flown 1600 miles and I've driven 1800 miles.
Exhausted for sure. But happy to be in my new city. I can't wait to move in. And new job starts next Monday.
