Chep Changer's Poor Impulse Control

My new blog, featuring my new comic, starring myself, and my alter ego. It's not about me, it about my.

Chep Changer is everything I am not, curly haired, mulleted, mustached, jean short and sandal wearing. Plus he walks around in goggles. Should be good for a lark. It will feature guest appearances by my family, my other comic creations, and maybe even some people I will make entirely. Nothing is up yet, but I am going to be posting the first very poorly drawn pages soon (I am not a painter, not an artist, nor someone who actually knows how to go about assembling a page. Take that formless chaos.

In the otherways, I am going to spend the weekend not committing violence against my friends, as I am prone to do. Chep serves this purpose, as he is the now the possessor of the poor impulse control I used to partake in. We are storming brooklyn today, boys and girls, fun for ages 24-28, playing some wiffle, drinking a lot, and visiting Bushwick's own Pump's Bar as we help to retire buddy Mike's penis. Boy is getting married in June and the boys are sending him off in style, by getting a stripper to shave him!

The drawback to this weekend will be the lack of work I get done, as I have a comic con next week I want to be sure I am conceptually prepared for and I have a shot at getting an agent which would make my life a lot easier and give me someone who would yell at me to actually finish things. Writing hopefully a near final draft of the second novel, trying to pound out the first draft of novel 3.

It's a slough of a run, but its what we do.

Italo Calvino wrote this, and I found it to be important: "The storyteller began to put forth words in order to extract an explanation of the world from the thread of every possible spoken narrative."

Cheers my droogies
