Been a while.
Last night at my (well, not so much) current job was last night. Could prolly have stayed on this week for the extra money, but I loathe dealing with the assholes people seem to turn into when they go grocery shopping, even moreso around the holidays, so I decided not to deal with it this time. I have more than enough money to last from now till Jan 21st, even with Xmas, though hopefully I can refrain from say, going and buying the rest of the Chobits dvds either online or at best buy.
Was sorta depressed last night, I've worked there 2 years and 3 or 4 months, so it's weird being unemployed again. But, my reasoning was I wanted a mini vacation between now and going back in the Army, and it was cool not having to wake up at 5 to go to work, but the plan of going out to breakfast this morning was derailed by not knowing how crowded the diner would be at that time, a slight headache i woke up with (i don't drink, so don't think hangover), and hearing that Saddam was fucking CAPTURED being one of the first things I heard when I switched on the radio after waking up.
So, I spent my morning reading video game and football stuff, watching and listening to pregame nfl stuff. And look, it's snowing again. Hope it don't mess with finishing my xmas shopping and going out for choco-chip pancakes tomorrow morning.
I hope I win my fantasy play off game today ^_^. Not bad for my first year of playing fantasy football.
MN_, I know I never replied to your email yet, but good luck with getting back in shape. Even prior the news of the day, I think going green is a pretty good idea, assuming you get a good MOS. Good money, benefits, job security. All around good deal.
