Today Daniel and I went to see the Corpse Bride. I loved it just for the mere fact that it was completely beautiful... But as Daniel pointed out the musical numbers are a little forced feeling. I was so enthralled with how utterly fantastic the animation was that I didn't even really focus on the negatives though. So two thumbs up from me.
Last week was a little trying for me. I had my first full week of classes on top of work. I don't know if I mentioned it but I'm not cutting back on work at all. Only an hour a week or so. I had a migraine every night. I'm not used to 12-14 hour days. I'm sure this week will be a little bit easier.
Overall my classes aren't bad. I love my Sex and the Family class. I have one of my favorite professors so it makes it easy. Not to mention, you have to love a class where the professor makes everyone say "anal sex" together on the first day. Gender and Sexualities will be okay--I'm just not sure how I feel about the weird mix of people taking it. I know a few of the people in it were in my classes last year and they make a fair discussion very difficult. Lastly, Geology is Geology. I'll be memorizing rocks all term. I can at least use my laptop in class which is pretty awesome.
I'm so excited that it's finally October. My 21st birthday is in a couple weeks, Daniel's birthday is in about a week and a half, and the anniversary/Halloween is at the end of the month. I hope to be completely inebriated for the length of the month.
I'm off to do some reading/studying for the week. I'm going to take advantage of a lazy afternoon to get things done.
