Some Shell Oil exec is on tv justifying the high gas prices... and saying, "I don't like these prices just as much as you do". Yeah, I'm sure he doesn't, but he's got millions to pay for $3.15 a gallon. I, on the other hand, do not.

Lately I've been touting that I will take a break this summer and slow down on things. No such luck. I'm going to be starting volunteer work with the Domestic Violence Resource Center, which includes 40+ hours of basic training alone. I need it for practicum credit, and they will also do advanced sexual assault advocacy training in the fall...which ultimately is what I need to get a job after school. Le sigh. A woman can't get a break, can she?

I did the math to figure out when I'll graduate... and if I don't stop taking classes until Fall '07 I should be okay. That means I have to take 6 credits this summer though, which is far more than I had wanted. Oh well, I guess it will keep my parents from bitching all the time.

So what's new? Work still sucks. I've been doing job searches on my computer at work secretly hoping I'll get caught and fired...which equals unemployment. ZING! Hopefully I'll find a kick ass job this summer. Other than that, I've been just lovely.

Its pouring down rain and I have to leave in 10 minutes. Why does it pour on the day I straighten my hair? Typical.
