Work was pretty much what I had expected... That woman tried to bite my head off... but I stopped her in her tracks and explained myself. Evidentally my boss embellished my story making me seem like an asshole, but I told her exactly what I told the boss and she said okay. She had started out by saying that she was "utterly betrayed and couldn't sleep all weekend over it". Whatever. Its work, bitch, learn to be an adult. Anyway, I felt a lot better after that because the dumbass quit giving me the silent treatment.

Moving on.

Mark Twain once said, "Habit is habit and not to be flung out of the window by any man, but coaxed downstairs a step at a time." I've been working on this idea. I've quit biting my nails without any real setbacks and I'm proud of myself because I've been biting them since I was 3. Now that I've got that habit at bay, time to work on the others. Slow and steady wins the race, right? Right. I have a goal to meet by the end of February, and I plan on getting there without a hitch. When I do get there I'm gonna buy myself something pretty, because damn it, I'll deserve it by then.

Time for exciting chores around the house. Laundry never ends!
