Been a long week with work, got about 40 hours in three days and that's not including tomorrow or last Monday. But the show is over and it's back to normal for a few weeks I think. Unless I'm forgetting about something. Doubt it though. Too bad I'm salary, right? Otherwise I'd be celebrating :)
Spent most of last Saturday morning drawing and redrawing a friend of mine, I don't feel comfortable posting it online but trust me when I say it looks pretty nice :) I am pretty pleased with it even though the back of my brain is pointing out things different from the picture I used as a reference. Brain needs to shut up sometimes, right? I am hoping to continue the practice this week with a different friend. Just gotta find a good picture to use first.
Another fun thing, I think I might start working on some old projects again. One in particular was a sort of "Children's Book" but with a slightly cynical/sarcastic feel. I was talking about it with a friend and realized it was pretty much near completion, just have to sit my ass down and do it. Here's hoping I can stick to it. Not to mention all the other projects I have in my queue that I want to work on. Someone light a fire under my ass.
I'm gonna grab another glass of whiskey and probably fall asleep here soon. Hopefully I'll also be able to post some drawings or photos soon too. I miss being a goofball.
