Another reason I hate London....
Security guy rang the buzzer at 7:20am this morn.
"Your van's been broken into"



From a quick look they've had at least
2 TFT screens
2 Amps
1 Head Unit
1 Camping stove
Some speakers.

Not had a proper check yet.

...happened at about 3am - the night guard caught them but they ran off when he approached, so they've left a couple of speakers and a DVD player.. but fucked up the wiring.
"A white guy and a black guy" - gonna see if there's anything on cctv later.
They called the police for me - got a crime number - I am wrong in expecting a visit?

Now I don't know what to do... I don't want to drive without a stereo, but I'm wary about sticking another one in... Might have to sell it

oh.. and yes ... I know it's "my fault" for sticking my website address (allyourbass.co.uk) on the side, not having an alarm and not parking in the underground car park (it's too tall)

update:
Been down to check.. seems they didn't have the camping stove.. just moved it.
...and although they ripped out the rear speakers and made a mess of the internal wall type thing they didn't even take them!
Also the fuel was turned off and the parking brake released... I've not tested to see if it starts/runs still.
