So, lately, I've definitely been in my own little world. To say the least. But like I've said elsewhere, perhaps its for my better mental health.
As life keeps trying to throw those curve balls at me, they're all a swing and a miss, as I keep on rising to the top.
This past Wednesday, my Stevi came down here from Philly. We went out for dinner at this greek restaurant and it was delicious. After dinner, we picked up Kell and Geabrey and did our usually Wednesday night club thing.
Did some drinking, danced our asses off, and then headed back down to Vineland where we stayed at a hotel.... was a fun night.
Thursday after we dropped Kell and Geabrey off at home, Stevi and I went on what I call a "sagey adventure". First we went to Parvins where we did some walking and a little picture taking... the weather was GORGEOUS so it was the perfect day for an adventure. We walked around and talked about my fondest memories of that park. It's the same park that my family did the haunted hayrides and walkthroughs at. So I've had some good times there. Talked a little about past lovers and why they'd never be as good as what he and I have now.
And I took a couple of pictures of him. The one coming out looking like he was a hot black metal band guy for norway.... I love men from Norway... :p
After leaving the park, we went on a Weird NJ site seeing quest, found "The Palace of Depression" which has been torn down but still has this weird little fountain looking thing standing. now that I think about it, I forgot to show him the Castle in Vineland and the weird statue place but we were heading toward Wildwood. So we stopped off on this road that I just recently started hanging at.... I guess it's in Dorchester... maybe a little more south, but it's a road that leads to nowhere... when you get to the end of it... it's just all marshland, and the road it so pointless and I think it's really cool. As we're riding down that road, I see a graveyard... with only 3 head stones... it's freaky. But cool nonetheless.
Then after we spent some time there talking about how cool it would be to get stoned and shoot some video there, we headed to Wildwood, NJ where we stopped off at Pizza Hut and then headed to the boardwalk. I love going to the boardwalk in the off season. It's kinda creepy when everything looks so desolate and abandoned. We got yelled at for walking onto one of the piers... hahah! And then walked the rest of the way back down the boardwalk and we left back for home. When we got back we went to Kell's to watch some crazy movie and then Stevi and I headed back off to Philly to take him home.
So today is the StupidBowl (oh yea i meant superbowl) I'm not really a football fan at all.... but I think that perhaps I should go get ready and head to Philly so I can see my man... I hope he's not one of those guys who starts screaming at the TV. hahah!
Next week I'm going to buy a print from Arden, she's so beautiful. And i'm going to see Bella Morte, they're playing at Whiskey Dix on the 10th.... so if you're from the Philly area, go check out Bella Morte at Whiskey Dix (on 7th and Willow) and come say hi to me.
