Ahh! I wrote a whole long reply and it went to who knows where...

In summary, I hear back on the Foreign Service thing in June or July, but I'm pretty confident I made it to the next round...

This weekend, of course, is Coachella, which will rule. I have 2 extra tickets (non-profit) and Suicide Kids get first crack at them. I can email them to you even!! Ah, the wonders of the information age! The first day is sold out, thanks to Radiohead, so it shouldn't be too hard to get rid of the extras.

After that, I have to throw together a lecture/presentation for next week in Sacramento. I should have done it already, but I was afraid they would take away the cool picture of me (actually, its a WSJ type illustration) in the dictionary next to the definition of procrastinator.

Note: two Jehovah's Witnesses just came to the door.

Ordinarily I would just ignore them and pretend that nobody's home, but for some reason I didn't even check and then I was nice to them...I'm such a whore for karma...

not a bad list! i wish i had more time to watch movies here at school... i got to rent city of god recently, that was amazing.

You may have noticed that I sometimes go a while without updating the journal...I have plenty to blather on about but I wouldn't know where to start.

So feel free to ask a question, start a discussion or even an argument. Communication is the key to all relationships, even virtual ones...

*laughs* heyheyhey! i know! it was salted! isnt that great? i have an even better one but its long so one day when i have alot of initiative i'll put it in my journal or something. anyway, because the concert is next weekend does that mean you didnt go this weekend? if not what did you do? and how are you?

i did bring my camera! i also brought some batteries that i thought were charged up because they came with my battery charger that i'd just purchased. so when i went out of batteries i went to change, but lo and behold they werent charged up already! grrr... but thats ok, i got some fun shots of the renoir piece, and my friend had her camera with her. we went into central park and reenacted some of the degas sculptures it was a blast.

anyway, hope youre doing well! have fun watching the simpsons, ive heard that movies is quite good

ah, i'm glad your feeling a little better. but seriously, youve got to relax and enjoy life a little more. sure some stress is garnered from the outside, but lots of it is self induced. this is all we have! so we need to stop and enjoy it right?
