Artists are very passionate people and most of us are married to our art. Inseparable! Almost every single person I have ever gotten close to in life has hurt me or betrayed me. Most were not maliciously planned in advance but rather people choosing to be selfish in ways that personally damage my life. This includes friends, family, lovers and strangers. Everyone experiences it in their life. But the more you have to offer the more it will happen to you. Until those who have the most to give don’t want to anymore because they are so tired of others taking. People can be exhausting and draining. But what is always there no matter how shitty other people make you feel is art. Art has never let me down. It doesn’t lie to me or steal. It is there to share my emotions with, without them being used against me. It is there to print a piece of my soul on it. It is there to release the pain dealt to me by selfish people without hurting them back. It is there to make me feel beautiful and special where others have failed to see my worth. It is there to keep me company if I cannot sleep. Art has got my back! They say you should do art whether you think your good at it or not because it’s good for your brain. So I highly encourage all of you whether you do art regularly or not, to take all that pain and turn it into something beautiful! 💕
