My birthday was pretty nice. It all started off with my 2 friends and I going to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Grauman's. Tim Burton + Johnny Depp = Genius. Johnny was simply brillant and the visuals of the movie were mindblowing. Everything Tim Burton does I love. I love the dark humor and creepiness of his films. I guess he can do no wrong in my eyes. I can't wait to see the Corpse Bride. <3
After that my friend Anika and I headed to the beach but since there was a ton of overcast we just sat on the beach and talked. I love the ocean. When I lived in NY there were only lakes near us which were dirty and gross. Having an ocean so near is new to me and I think I need to take advantage of it more often.
We had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen then we went dancing which I haven't done in sooo long. I miss it - must save up to take classes again.
Around midnight (after 2 Long Island Iced Teas) I decided I wanted to go swimming. So off we went. It was cold but felt sooo good, i love night swimming. <3

I try going to the beach every other day during this time of the year. It is so close and so why not.
