The holidays have been really nice. Mostly family dinners, and lots of time off. Had a little shindig at my place for boxing day, an annual tradition at this point, and enjoyed seeing old pals I see far too rarely, boozing, laughing, telling stories. Sampled many of the gems in my single malt collection that evening. Starting in the New Year I'm gonna start including some tasting notes of my favourites with my updates. A perfect excuse to have a 'wee dram' every now and then. Not that one needs an excuse.
I've been tattooing my buddy Seamus for a couple of months now, with a half sleeve and chest panel. Part of the deal is for a 1st gen. G4 he is getting rid of. I have an archaic G3 which is really past it's best. The G4 is far from new, but will be way better and quicker than what I'm using now. Kind of exciting.
Looking forward to playing my set at the Velvet Elvis for N.Y.E. tommorrow. I look forward to a big farewell to 2005. This year has been a test to say the least. Can I hand in my paper now? I'm done.
This morning, Twwly and I decided Lil' Puppercini was due for some styling for the New Year. His little mohawk and shaven butt couldn't be cuter. He is very proud of his new look, and all full of piss 'n' vinegar.
