Being the only goth in high school, I had to to dish out the occasional black eye to keep the bullies off my back. I knew how to smooth talk or, when push came to shove, fight myself out of bully situations. And I feel lucky for that. Hearing this kid's tale just breaks my heart. He seems like such a fucking cool dude. I wish I could hang out with him. Play some video games, tell him shit will be alright. Because it will. Rock on Caine!
