Dermal punching; Is it for everyone? I doubt it, but I have been hearing so much about it, I figured we should really get our heads together and really try our hand at it.

I realize that many of you may not Know what this process is. Essentially, it's like a hole-puncher for skin. Traditional piercing needles cut a clean crescent shaped incision, but don't actually remove a significant amount of tissue. Many piercers believe that the key to a successful cartilage piercing is the complete removal of tissue, especially in large gauge piercings.

The following pics are from our first attempt. We really did a lot of planning and research on this one. More so than ever before. Everything went very well. Nothing happened that we were not prepared for. Big props to all that helped;
