Remember when you were a kid and thee was nothing you couldn't do, no one you couldn't be and nowhere you couldn't go? Tpday was a day where I went back to that place and found the imaginative child within in me. I have been writing and drawing on my etch a sketch (I am actually quite decent at it!) Of course it was the...

Today was a good day :-D Woke up feeling much better then I got an email saying my early class was cancelled for a second day (And here I thought the flu was a bad thing) So I read some more which is a rare thing these days. Hey there! Sounds like you're doing well. I've wanted to read both of the books you mentioned but haven't got around to it. Today I heard an interview with Silas House about his third book, the Coal Tattoo, so I had to go and get his book, but I settled for a cheaper paperback of his first book, Clay's Quilt. Sounds like it's gonna be good!

Well the snow turned out to be a tad bit of snow and two days of sleet and cold rain woo hoo! On a random and odd note I had an older lady shopping in my store tell me I reminded her of a well built Eddie Deezen. If you know who Eddie Deezen is I don't know if this was a compliment or not....

It's about to snow here which is a fairly rare occurrence. We get it maybe once or twice a year and never very much so it is a treat. Now I just someone to sit by the fire and enjoy a cup of chai with me biggrin The day should really be spent straightening and sorting to get rid of some of my excess goods as...

Monday came way too quick and was waaaaay too long! I suspect a nice book and hopefully (my insomnia is like the old John Belushi skit where the guest shows up and then never ever leaves. It showed up one night long ago and . . . ) a long night of sleep are in order. Speaking of books if anyone has some suggestions ....

What's International Econ? Sounds interesting.
If you like LOR you will like Dragonlance. Its a series of books about a group of characters ranging from an elf, to a warrior, a lady warrior, dwarf, and a dark wizard. Set in scenerios like Sword of Shanara.
What all do like reading wise?
Do you like most foreign films? I loved Amelie, love anything with Famke in it (Run Lola Run, Princess and the Warrior, Bourne Identity), Japanese horror films, and City of Lost Children. Give me some to watch, I need to broaden my collection.

City of lost Children is great but I am a huge Ron Perlman fan. Le Femme Nikita the movie (there was a show based on it) is fantastic. If you have a very very dark sense of humor try Man bites dog. Also check out the old italian horror films from the 70s they are dated and bad but give you a good laugh now and agian!
