vomitious

one of my dogs is sick. i think it's getting close to his passing. he's old and has typical old man health problems, but since last night he's been hacking up a storm. we're taking him to the vet this evening, not like they can probably do much. i hope it's either nothing, or if it is something we'll know so we can put him out of his misery. i haven't been able to sleep because i'm worried. i just keep feeling like this is it, like his health is deteriorating to the point of death. he was my first dog and i can't even think of losing him, but deep down i feel like it's going to happen. very soon. i just hope i'm wrong. i don't know if i can deal with being right.

edited june 19th to say- i was wrong, thankfully. never has it felt SO good to be wrong. my dog should be fine. he is sick, but shall recover. my little enegizer that keeps going.
