I think people should be paid on the basis of two things.
1. How beautiful they are.
2. How wise they are.

Is that fair? Nope, but then what is?
Beautiful people shouldn't have to work at jobs they don't like. Screw the ugly people. (Oh shit, I'm reading Huxley's Brave New World, is it showing?)
At any rate, you'd be rich, I'd be rich, and all'd be right with the world.
