I knew I should've asked a harder question..... dammit. Okay, here's my recipe for alfredo:
3/4 c. heavy cream
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
black pepper

In a small sauce pan, combine the butter and cream. bring just to a boil. Reduce heat immediately, and simmer for 30 seconds. Add half the parmesan and black pepper. Wisk until smooth. Remove from heat.
Boil the pasta and drain. Do not rinse. Add the sauce to the pasta, along with the rest of the parmesan. Toss well. Garnish with more parmesan and black pepper. Serve. Yield approximately 3-4 big servings. ( this recipe will cover a 12 oz. package of linguine)


If you make that recipe, DO NOT substitute any of the ingredients, it wont work.
