I haven't slept in almost two days and we are going back out for another patrol tonight. Wish me luck so I don't shoot myself in the foot! :-) Actually hiking through the hills at night is pretty, so long as the breezes keep the biting gnats away. It looks like I might get to take a couple days off in Puerto Rico sometime later this month. I hope it goes through. I haven't been off of this island in almost 5 months. I am going a little batty from it. I need to get somewhere and around people who don't count grunting as the major part of thier vocabulary! :-)
update: we cut the patrol short. AND they are playing the new Star Wars movie at the theater on base tonight. *whirling dervish of camouflage happiness* woo hoo! And the best part about the theater on base is it is an outdoor setup BYOB...so I guess my plans are to get drunk and ogle Senator Yabbadabba.
